Coincidences/serendipities

Dear Folks,

 

I was poking around the site for this group--I plan to look at all

the files eventually--and discovered this group was created on Sept. 11th,

2000.

 

September 11th is my birthday. Tooooo coincidental! LOL!

 

And, of course, when I first called upon Lord Ganesh (and he answered me),

I had noooo idea about him and the mouse. But I *am* a mouse. I am

countrymouse/Mousie/etc. Our domain name is bookmice.net even.

 

Anyone else had any really interesting (or even small) "coincidences" with

regard to Lord Ganesh?

The "Milk Miracle" that happened on September 21, 1995, fell on my

35th birthday! Also in Chinese Astrology, I was born in the Year of

the Rat(mouse)!

but a couple scrapes and a stiff neck. My car was totaled and it was only 2 years old.

I am a great believer of Ganesha. I feel he is always with me ...everytime.

Small or little things have proven to me innumerable times that he is with me

always...as my best friend.

I have a locket that was sent to me from a temple. I recently managed to loose

it and could not find it anywhere. it is supposed to be worn by me always. i

was so upset that I started to cry. Then i just happended to lay my eyes on a

picture of Ganesha ( I have a picture of him on every wall of my house). For

some weird reason, which I cannot explain, I simply walked to my puja/prayer

room. And there it lay right in front of him......

Another thing that happened recently..last week infact. I never check the doors

before going to sleep. Thats is my husbands job. It was almost 12 in the night

and i could not sleep. Again I looked up and i saw a picture of ganesha...just

by the bedside lamp. Something made me walk to the front door. the front door

is made of matt glass so one can see through it though not very clearly. when i

looked through I could see something hanging out of the key hole. We do not have

a handle outside. So i opened the door to see our main set of keys hanging out

from the key hole. I Immediately removed the keys, locked the doors and checked

our back door and went to sleep. next day there was a news of burglary in a

house that was unlocked...not very far from where we live.

So he is always around helping me and taking care of me and my family...always.

May Glod blessings always be with everyone...

 

You are quite lucky to have encountered with such

incidences to firm your belief in God... God always

makes his presence feel to us to make us realise that

he is there... surely somewhere around you.. watching

you and your deeds... taking into account what every

good n bad you do....

 

I too am a firm believer in God.. and Lord Ganesha

too is my diety... I every year visit Ashtavinayak

Temples, a very famous tour in Mahrashtra state in

India.. What every wish you have in mind.. ofcourse it

shud be nothing selfish ... comes out to be true after

you finish taking darshan of all 8 Ganesh Temples.. I

have experienced a lot of changes in my life each time

i return back from the Ashtavinayak Yatra.

 

It was the first time i went for the tour in 1997

and as soon as i came back.. it came into mind to

design a website (http://www.ashtavinayak.net) which

till today i have kept it online providing complete

information about the tour.

 

I was just 19 years of age when i visited

Ashtavinayak first time.. Today i arrange tours to

ashtavinayak too... but once every year i make a

personal tour to Ashtavinayak. One year i was very

upset about my life.. i had problems at my

place...with my mom n dad.. i didnt have good job...

things were not going my way.... After returning from

the tour... immediately in months time.. i got a good

job offer .. things were goin fine... then i broke off

with my girl friend.. was upset about why it happenned

.... Next month when i visited ashtavinayak again... i

prayed God to let the things to go fine in both of us

only if he feels that she is really made for me.. I

returned back ... Me n my girlfriend have never spoken

with each other till date.. but as days passed i

realised that she was really not made for me... i cud

get more better parter for me...

Then next year... I had left my job n tried doing

something on my own... It didnt work.. N i was jobless

again for more than 4 months.. I had gone mad .. some

times thinking bout running away from home... But

again Lord ganesha helped me my way... I got a good

job ...

 

Also every morning i recite Atharvashirsh Shlokas

after taking my bath... It also has made my mind quite

stable ... I urge all Ganesh devotees also too recite

the shlokas every morning and get benifited in your

life.

 

May Lord Ganesha shower his blessings on all of us..
