I remember places like Cameron Highlands, Penang and some other places that had a lot of British in the old days, then came the Federation of Malaya. The link you posted has brought a lot of nostalgia. When young, went to K.L. many times but somehow didn't come across this Ganesha shrine in Jalan Pudu.
