Mahaganapatim

I meditate upon Lord Ganapati; I bow down my head to the joy of

Lord Siva who is Lord Ganapati.

I bow down my head to that Lord Ganapati with elephant's face, who

is the great ruler of the universe, who is the remover (of

obstacles) and who is a medecine to the disease of samsara.

are capable of removing the countless obstacles (of ours), who is

the bestower of all qualities such as tranquility of mind who is in

the mind (manifest as Consciousness), who pervades the entire

universe, who is auspicious, the highest goal of all, giver of

everything and infinite.

 

I meditate upon Lord Ganapati who abides in all the beings living in

the cosmos, who is established in the end portions of Veda like

Yajus, etc. who is manifest in very pure minds, who is glorious,

detached, and in the form of everything.
