Guest guest
Namaste Friends, As mentioned in the article "When mercury which is impure is purified and consecrated by various processes it becomes solid and can be given a solid form." What it shoud have said is "Mercury is "impure" or "toxic" in its liquid form. When it is purified and consecrated by various processes it becomes solid with the addition of silver." (I haven't read the whole thing..) But what it should also have mentioned is that "Parad making is a highly involved process utilising prayers, mantras, herbs, etc. with 16 Samskaras performed in the making process. It is not made by Joe Blow but mostly by siddhars (example Tamil Siddhars) who have possess the relevant knowledge and know-how, who are from long lineages of Parad-makers or Shilpi-makers (Makers of Ritual Art). When made like this, Mercury is not poisonous in solidified Parad form. When a Parad Shree Yantra is placed in room for example, it eats up negative energy like "whooooosh"! Btw, Parad is the "Seed of Shiva" or "Sperm of Shiva". Parad cups are considered holy, in fact all Parad items are considered holy in India (to the best of my humble canteloup). The prayers, mantras and 16 Samskaras 'infused' into parada during the making process, is one of the elements that makes it sacred and hence the healing properties, etc. and gave credence to other properties that are widely claimed or rather, acclaimed in India. I permanently wear a biggish parad bead on the person. While I would take other stuff off, this bead stays.....It came into my life at a most negative period when devoid of prana, sickly and under psychic attack. The moment it touched the body it shut down or closed off the chakras for a recharge. Strange effect right then but next, it seemed to enhance or add energy to japa and sadhana, at least this is what happened for me. Good for clearing negative energies, lifting the spirits when all seems dark and highly protective. Despite the hot and humid temps of Ozzie summers going up to 30-odd degrees celsius, the bead hasn't changed color, sweat, pollution, diet, body chemicals and all combined, amazing. Guest guest
Len was making it sound like this holy purifying parad was dangerous and that it should be coated to prevent mercury poisoning. This probabally would defeat the perpous of having some thing this precious. Im sure if it was that dangerous they would have stopped making it hundreds of years ago. The way he described it made as much sense as holy water laced with sianide. I havnt bought any yet but I saw a big selection at a sight called astroshastra.com. Do you know if they are reputable? If not can you recomend someplace else. I need all the positive influence on my Karma I can get. I know that we say everything is one but I feal influenced by some kind of evil force that wants me to slip up and become to absorbed in the illusion to see the light. Thanks , and may Ganesh rain his boons down upon you, James Simone <syzenith .au> wrote: Namaste Friends,As mentioned in the article "When mercury which is impure ispurified and consecrated by various processes it becomes solid andcan be given a solid form."What it shoud have said is "Mercury is "impure" or "toxic" in its liquid form.
