thanksgiving

I just want to say thank you to all of you who make a safe

haven for spiritual seekers like myself. I recently had a very

negative experience on another supposedly open-minded hindu board. I

was cornered by a very pushy member of the board and I was called

superficial and a 'bluffer' since I did not accept his spiritual

beliefs. Well, I then I thought of how much I feel almost like a

little family has developed here on and I just wanted you to

know that I feel loved by you all and I feel welcomed even if I do

not share the beliefs of everyone here. To me, this family

represents true tolerance as they have allowed me as a Christian, who

does not agree with everything about Hinduism to come here and simply

learn about Hinduism from the perspective of Ganesh. No one here has

ever forced me into a corner. No one here has ever insulted my

religion, to me at least, and made me feel 'superficial'. Instead I

have been constantly greeted w respect and love and peace from all.

This to me shows spiritual presence. This shows god is here. I am not

saying that I have ill will toward the people from the other message

board. I simply hope they progress spiritually from where they are

at. Also, I hope that I progress spiritually too. I do not see myself

separate from them, since I believe we are all related. Still, I

cannot function there in that condemning environment. Here I feel a

haven. Thanks again. This board is truly a gift.
