Guest guest
Thanks for your information...indeed its not the first time I see there is an association between Ganesha and Hermes or Thot. About the number 4, well, we have the Cross as basic symbol representing the 4, up down left right, 4 elements etc... but also, inside the 4 as inside the cross there is an invisible number we tend to forget, the fith element wich is the crossroad between the 4 lines, wich sends us once more to the most important part: THE HEART. Indeed, in Buddhism also we have the 5 skandas, that transformed become the elements or qualities of an enlightened being, and the vajra of the heart, represents exactly this, the transformation, the enlightenement. Always we come back to the same central point, the heart. Ganesha also has as symbol the star of six, star of David, wich also is the symbol of the heart chakra, at least I have seen some images of ganesha with this star, wich is also a tantric symbol, specifically the star with the OM inside. The star of David, forms 2 tetrahedros, wich is the Merkaba our vehicle in other realms. The merkabah has apparently a connexion with the purity of our hearts. the star of david, or star of six points, has aswell a central point, 7 points, the six points of the star, plus the central point, the heart, that wich unites all, wich is in geometric shapes, the hexagon. Anyhow, all this is amazing perhaps one day all this is discovered completely.... Love Barbara
