Guest guest
Hi all! First off, I'd like to apologize for not responding or posting. I am so far behind on so many things, but I have had a few moments to breathe and clear my mind and realize my priorities, hence here I am! I wrote this earlier in response to Sy, but forgot to post this (oops! sorry!): > Nice to know you've got Wolfie being there to remind how you're >loved although he wants to go outdoors in all weather conditions. >Does he sulk when you refuse to take him for walkies? Hmm... Fond >of rabbits, now that's a doggie worth more than his weight in gold. >Does he bring some surprise treats sometimes? Sulk? Sulk? LOL, sulk ain't the word for it! The End of the World... thou shalt die of guilt! It's terrible, I don't dare not walk him, lol. I have some not very good shots of the lovely blizzard we had last winter. I have a few good shots of the rainbow that appeared in the middle of a downpour last weekend. I think you get my drift here... I've heard about rabbits in Australia, but they're not that bad here (especially since Wolfie moved into the neighborhood!) There's no need to go and systematically reduce their numbers. He can only catch the little ones usually now, which is not nice to see really. If he catches a rabbit he disappears with it, since it's tasty and he won't give up what he catches. Raccoons is another thing he's fond of, but I'll spare everyone the REALLY not nice details on that... Opossums are another thing he catches, but actually brings back, since once they play dead they aren't any fun anymore. I'm afraid I can't tell you about U.K. summers, since it's just my email service that's U.K. based :-) I can tell you Detroit sucks LOL... we're about to hit a heat wave with lots of humidity and last week it was cool and the nights were really cold (for this time of year.) It goes up and down like mad. ------------------ The heat wave has been horrible but it is suppose to 'sort of' go away for a bit, so perhaps I will be able to get myself into gear. I am working on learning carving - bonework. I had this brilliant idea of how nice it would be to make my first piece the head of Ganesha... hahaha! After messing about a bit I thought maybe I'd start with something a little less ambitious like maybe a dolphin (for a friend), hahaha... I call it my "Disturbed Shark" lol! I'm afraid Ganesha will have to wait quite a while for me to attempt carving. I wouldn't want to do him an injustice and him to turn into Buddha knows what! (Then He might turn me into Ganesha knows what!) I am not caught up yet on all the posts, but Wow! the Heramba Ganapati's are absolutely killer! (I was wanting to carve just one little head, no more, that's all, lol.) Thanks very much for posting the links for those! Ganesh bless, Stark
