Included in the same is the book Understanding Ganapathi ( A.R. Thapan ) This is a slim hardback volume that details Sri Ganesha's origins, rise to a major god, importance in Hindu,Buddhist and Jain religion,describes the Ganapatya sects and gives insight on how Sri Ganesha is seen to priest and devotees in the north and south of India, as well the multifaceted personality of our Sri Ganesha.
