Hello! I having been reading this list

for awhile and today was inspired to introduce

myself. I am lilith and live in Portland, Oregon.

I live with my husband and *lots* of animals,

we have a small shelter in our home for abandoned

pets (ferrets, cats, dogs, rats and birds).

I am *very* new to Hinduism, am just learning.

I am also new to Lord Ganesha... I was introduced

to him through several very vivid and intense

dreams with him, I will tell you about them sometime if

you are interested. I have many small Sri Ganesha

statues in my home and am reading many of the books

that have been mentioned recently. I am not sure if

I am doing things right but as the dreams continue

I have hope that my mistakes are overlooked 8-).

It is wonderful to be a part of this list and I may

be quiet because I am so new and just learning and

don't want to say the wrong things %-).

with love,

lilith

Lillith

Hi. Welcome. Vannakkam (Tamil).

I am happy to see that you have introduced yourself on the group.

Don't worry much about doing the right or wrong things. God (as even

in the form of Ganesha) will be open to allowing you inside if you

just be honest to yourself.

In Portland there is a sri ramakrishna mission. Do you know about

it? It is a nice place to visit and meditate. I haven't been there,

but I heard there is one.

I also have a website if you are interested in learning more about
