Re: judgement creates pain and

unhappiness

Jai guru Datta

I am trying to practice the art of witnessing my own

thoughts. This I am doing as a part of my journey

towards attaining Oneness, that is so near(actually it

is inside itself) yet so far.

Unless I judge others, and judge mine also, the acts and

thoughts behind all these, how can I come to the next

step of acting,or reacting in this case.

I do this and also act or react ,only with Myself

witnessing.

Is there something I dont understand? Could you kindly

have pity on me and explain if there is something that

you know and a I dont know and maybe helpful in my

(our) pursuit?

Sharada Responds

Jai Guru Datta

In witness consciousness a transformation takes place.

When judging stops we can feel the presence. We

slowly learn to wittness thought and not react. The

mind begins to quiet. When their is really no judging

of good or bad we can respond from a pure heart.

" Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see

God" [from Bible]

From Saccidandanda Niti Malla page 154

" But when a man gets blessed by the Guru his

knowledge gets transformed into wisdom. It becomes

like a shower of nectar on every limb of his body. the

Idea is that his whole body, mind and the senses are

purified and he sees only the indwelling divinity in

all the sense objects. He enjoys Absolute Bliss."

Sri Swamiji Guides each devotee as to what his

particular path should be when they go to him with a

surrendered heart.
