Time Out -- Time for the list ADMIN to intervene -- PLEASE !!!

Jai Guru Datta,

I think it is definitely time for the list ADMINISTRATOR to kindly jump in

and steer this list's usage towards appropriate measures.

 

(1) It looks like the "Reply-To" option has been misconfigured !!

People think they are replying to individuals an dthese mails get to the WHOLE

list !!

 

It is time to fix this configuration.

 

(2) This not the first time that this list suffered from losing control and

direction on discussion topics. In the past many a time in such situations list

members have been urged to join a different list called some thing close to

"Vedanta ....Discussions".

 

Elaborate and steaming discussions with what ever depth that people need can

be fostered in that other enlightening . Those interested can always

explore the correct name of that list and join it.

 

(3) This list is a single thread that binds millions of HH Sri Swamiji's

devotees across the world. It is our (all members) responsibility to safegaurd,

maintain and use it appropriately.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL THAT YOU POST HERE REACHES MILLIONS!!

 

(4) Unfortunately I do not know who is the right contact to ADMINISTER and

MODERATE this list.

 

I humbly urge the administrator to kindly jump in and take some control

measures.

 

In the past week itself we all know

 

----- what all this list has suffered from and

----- how many times (within a week) personally addressed e-mails get posted

by mistake here (due to erroneous configuration of settings on the "Reply-To"

option of this list).

 

Bowing to the Lotus feet of HH Sri Swamiji, let us all understand this

situation and work towards a productive goal.

Understanding that there is another group and also understanding the agony of

you,and other like minded Swamiji's devotees, I put a temporary stop to my

emails her on enquiries and discussions.

But can I give you a suggestion? Please?

I shall put an enquiry in the Subject coloumn,the emails I send on my

enquiries. you can choose not to open them.This is till I get that other group

Vedanthic discussion group between out Swamiji's devotees.

 

I want to discuss within our Swamiji's devotees.Other things in Vedaantha

with others.Do you kindly understand my situation? Could you bear with me?

 

Or if you say (you are very humble,I like your approach very much and try to

learn a few things from you! ) that I should limit myself to the occasional

thoughts,(which I dont get !) then I have to keep mum,which I shall defenitly do

if it peases a fellow Datta family member, like you...

 

Please advice.
