By the grace of His Holiness, Sri Swamiji, the Parama Shiva Panchakshari

Mantra Japa (Japa Yagna) initiative has gone on extremely well. So many

devotees, across USA and Canada have participated in it, with interest,

eager and untainted devotion, for forty days leading up to the Maha

Shivarathri Day.

 

We are very happy to share with you all that a total of 129 devotees

have participated in this Yagna. In terms of enthusiasm, it is

exhilarating to know that the devotees age ranged from as small as TWO

year olds, to up to SEVENTY FIVE (that we know of…) olds. It is purely

His Holiness's grace in action through all of us!

 

In terms of our target, as you remember, we have started out with a goal

of reaching 11 lakhs (1.1 million) of chanting. With His blessings

fully with us, we should be very happy to know that, together, all of

us, we have chanted the Panchakshari mantra for a total of more than 59

lakhs (59,04,590….or over 5.9 millions). The scale of participation is

very uplifting and very promising, to do more of such programs for days

to come, under the impeccable, divine guidance of Sri Guru Deva!

 

All the names, with the counts, were submitted to the Holy Lotus Feet of

Sadguru Sri Swamiji, on the morning of Shivarathri in Mysore Ashrama.

Sri Swamiji felt very very happy about the participation and devotion

of all of us, and had urged us to do this kind of programs more.

In addition, the names and the counts have been ceremoniously submitted

to Parama Shiva, in the Mahaa Lingarchana performed in New Jersey on

the Shivarathri Day.

 

In regards to the top two chanters, the first devotee was with a count

of 12,56,000 (over 12 lakhs, or over 1.2 million times), and the second

devotee was with a count of 8,26,670 (over 8 lakhs). Every

participant's effort has been precious, and everyone's devotion meant a

lot for a successful completion of this Yagna.

May Sri Guru Deva bless with the Sakthi (strength) and Sanmathi (right

mind), to follow His words, …as the very meaning of Following Him is to
