Hello Friends,

 

 

 

I/we need your urgent help. My dear friend Alison Scott from New Orleans called

me this morning.

 

St. Bernard's Parish has erected some tents for the homeless to live in. Most

of these people are workers

 

in offices, are nurses, restaurant, et al. Naturally, many are unemployed and

have lost everything.

 

There are adults and children living in these tents.

 

 

 

They don't have enough blankets!

 

Can you imagine sleeping in a tent without blankets during these winter nights?

 

 

 

They don't have socks!

 

 

 

PLEASE see if you can help us get blankets and socks to them.

 

It doesn't have to be an expensive blanket. You can go to the dollar store,

Walmarts, etc.

 

 

 

The Spirit of Christmas and Hannukah is to give gifts.

 

Can you spare giving a blanket, a pair of socks for an adult and a pair of socks

for a child?

 

Look within and your heart will tell you.

socks-180 pairs of each-and five blankets.
