As today the USA celebrates Thanksgiving day, the following story is one which

signifies

the source of true gratitude.

 

We are thankful for His Grace.

 

Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji in Akividu

Pujya Sri SwamijiÕs message:

Tiragali (ancient flour grinding machine).

It has a upper and lower stone plates. It also has a handle. Lower body is mind.

Upper

plate is Body consisting of Ari Shadvargas. As the grains are poured in the

holes of the

stone plates, all the living creatures are ground to flour or dust by the system

of Maya. But

some grains escape this grinding, which are near the handle. The handle is

Sadguru.

Those following or dwelling near him escape the tirade of worldly difficulties.

 

Guntur Incident: Two brothers who are charitable in nature are residents of

Guntur. Some

devotees approached them for donations and also suggest that they participate in

the

programs. They declined the offer but used to donate for the programs. It is not

easy to

get fascinated to Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji detracts people rather then attract

them, many

times. Finally, one among them happened to visit Swamiji. He was impressed by

the

programs and also requested Sri Swamiji to visit their house. Sri Swamiji wanted

to test

this person, and demanded a hefty donation. Unable to avert his resolve, His

Holiness had

to accept his invitation after imposing many conditions. During the visit, he

prompted to

seek Sri Swamiji for some advice.

He finally asked Swamiji,Ó I am an established businessman. Enjoyed many types

of wealth

in this world. I know many persons of stature and many walks of life. I also

used to donate

for noble causes. People seem to experience joy many times. But one fact that

perplexed

me was, in spite of many difficulties such as bankruptcy, poor health,

fatalities in close

relatives and poverty, your devotees are always happy. How is this possible??

Just to know

the secret, I have joined your family group. Please explain. I have invited many

religious

persons of many sects. But this rare phenomena has bamboozled me. We get

perturbed

for simple and small reasons. Kindly admit us into your fold. And make us be

happy and

smiling all the time.

 

Sri Swamiji simply replied, unconditional acceptance of Sri Swamiji as their

Sadguru and

total dedication is the cause. My devotees have nothing to fear for. Because,

they are quite

assured that His Holiness is protecting them against all imbalances in their

lives. Rather

than removing their difficulties (Which they should experience to ward off the

previous

Karma), Swamiji gives you the stamina to withstand the difficulties. I repeat,

it is good to

have Sri Swamiji as a savior. You will have the mental assurance that you are

under the

protection of Sadguru. But at the same time, make use of My sayings and

chantings such

as Hanuman Chalisa, Lalita Sahasranama, Bhajans, Kavachas. Meditate for at least

10

minutes daily. You get relieved of your tension in your life. The beam of light

cast by

Swamiji shows you the path ahead. Follow this. In private interviews also, I

suggest you the

same way.
