Guest guest
We have not been able to contact two wonderful members of our Datta family. I am emailing everyone in hopes that we can pull together our resources and do all we can to find out any information about them. Sara and Steve Foster were residents of Waveland/ Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. I spoke with Sara Sunday night before the storm and she said that they were going to ride out the storm at a Bed and Breakfast where she worked. The B&B was 28ft above sea level and it had withstood Hurricane Camille, so she thought they would be safe there. As many of you who've watched the news are aware, the cities of Waveland and Bay St. Louis are virtually gone. The good news is that I've been emailing people on message boards, and heard that CNN reported about the B&B in Bay St. Louis. The report said that although the building of the B&B was destroyed, the workers inside the building are still alive. I've also recieved emails from people in the area who've confirmed that the residents of the B&B are alive. So I'm hoping that Sara and Steve are ok, and at a shelter, but I need help in trying to locate them. I have a phone number for locating people in Mississippi, but the line is always busy. That number is 601-359-7017. I've also called the Red Cross number, 1800-GET-INFO, but that number seems to be incorrect. I am hoping that if some of us take a little time out of our day to help find Sara and Steve, we will be able to get in touch with them quicker. Please help in any way you can. Thank you so much. Jai Guru Datta. -Maunica

Guest guest
Datta Devotees, Sara and Steve are alive and recovering. They have been through an experience that I cant even imagine. It is only with Appaji's blessings that they were able to make it through such a horrific event. I will spare everyone the details, but just convey that they are alive and well. Thank you all for your prayers. I really think it had an impact.
