Probably the most famous spiritual occurance,RAMAYAN,the story of Lord Rama, had fourteen years in the forests.In these modern times, we very rarely give any thought to spiritual occurences happening in any forest. On July 21,2005, a huge crowd of people were fortunate to be in a forest, in a fully developed modern society, to witness a miracle. People travelled for days, even in this day of jet travel,to assemble in a forest in the state of Pensylvania, in the United States,to be part of a spritual event that is in itself a very rare occurance,an event that stimulates rare joy in the heart of the participants. On that Thursday July 21,2005, this huge croud of people came to worship in an event that is known as GURU PURNIMA. This was a special day to worship at the feet of one's guru, and this gathering came to this forest to worship at the feet of Sadguru SRI SRI SRI GANAPATI SACHCHIDANANDA SWAMIJI. Sitting in this natural setting, with birds singing in their natural habitat, with the deer and other animals close by,the devotees of SRI SWAMIJI were indeed fortunate to be part of this spectacular occurance,the likes of which we have only read about in the scriptures. SRI SWAMIJI created for all of us this wonderful opportunity,and HE was so very generous to all of us who were present there. This is indeed a miracle. Jaya Guru Datta. Sri Guru Datta. I also recollected the state of mind which was achieved through complete breathing techniques as thought in the Kriya and Tri Yoga classes. It was as if we were pupils studying under a Rishi in a forest somewhere in Ancient India.... Swamiji has brought this miracle for us in the 21st century!
