Dear Devotees,

 

Upon Bindu Lanka's suggestion and Sri Swamiji blessings Mathrumandali-dycusa

plans to initiate group/individual chanting of Lalitha Sahasranama to a count

of atleast 9 lakhs or more depending on the number of participants. We plan

to start on Ekadasi or Panchami day during the month of Sravan, after I hear

from those who want to participate in this yagnam. The following details will

help you to decide:

 

1) Sankalpam will be sent to you be e-mail as given by Shankarmanchi

Sharma Garu/Srinivas Shastri Garu,

 

2) group/individual can participate by doing the Sankalpam,

 

3) a Kalasam can be set by the group/individual,

 

4) Kumkum archana can be performed to Laksmi/Lalitha Devi's picture. At

the end of the whole count of chantings, kumkum can be sent to Datta Temple to

be offered to the Devi,

 

5) if it is a group activity, one person will be requested to take the

responsibility of keeping and updating the record of the count of their group,

getting the form consisting of details of Names, Gotra, Nakshatra of the

participants and their family members for Prasadam to be sent at a later date.

If you

are involved as an individual, you need to keep a record yourself.

 

6) sponsorship to participate would be $18.00 or more (optional - has to

be multiples of 9)

 

8) The date to conclude and exact count will be determined by the number of

participants

who respond to this e-mail.

 

Please pass on this information to others, devotees as well as others. There

are many who are not in our Jaigurudatta group. Make sure you announce to

various groups.
