Guest guest
Dear friends, I want to react on one of the previous mails appeared in this group. It was written: It amazes me to this day that still so many people put so much faith in astrology, but not even a fraction in Swamiji's grace. Who can judge how much faith a person has in the Guru. The Guru only knows the amount of faith a person has. Astrology is an ancient science and there is nothing wrong to have faith in astrology, it does not exclude faith in the Guru. The problem sometimes is the quality of the astrologer and the intentions of the person consulting an astrologer. 2. it is written: To really surrender implies that you stop thinkin/worrying about your future, and let His grace operate in providing you with the necessary experiences and the necessary understanding to achieve true spiritual growth. I agree fully, but is it not conceivable that gurus grace leads us to a good astrologer who is capable of giving a transparent picture of our lifelessons and stuck behavior patterns and thereby helping us to grow and rise from wrong identifications? I am not talking about "prediction astrology". That is only a minor part of astrology. I see many peole running to an astrologer to get solutions for their domestic problems and wanting insight in future events. That is okay but astrology is much more than that. As far as I know even our beloved Sri Swamiji has consulted astrologers to hear their opinions. When astrology is applied in its true sense it is a blessing for mankind.
