Oragnisers please send info to this list as many devotees live in cities where no regular satsanghs are held. Another suggestion/advice to organisers , please try to include everybody in serving Sri Swamiji. You will never know the essence of Sri Swamiji who is Dattatreya himself if you are holding on to things and excluding people. Come On , be sane and open up in serving Datta. If you dont do this and still say "DATTA" , Datta will give you real hard kick in your face until you see him every where.This has allways happened with Datta as you can read in Datta Darshanam. Do i need to call BTR temple or you everyday to find out what is going on in the temple?.what is the purpose of main jaigurudatta group?. Why was the email about the special japa by sastriji sent to local satsangh groups and not to the main jaigurudatta group. Does it mean only priviliged few who have some contacts should participate in this japa?.This clearly undermines the very spirit of Dattatreya who stood for love and compassion to all. Organisers should realise where to post information so that it reaches wider devotee community. Sorry guys , If i am hurting anyone in this process. We do not have to assume that the priest had some special interest in not sharing information with this group. It could have been as easy as sending mail to this list/priest asking them to publish any future events in this list. Anyway everybody has reasons for what they choose to do including you and me. My point of sending the mail only to you and not to the group was: "Though it is necessary for all of us to realize Datta in ourselves, we do not have to realize that Datta is in you this way." I was in no way asserting that i am Datta and nobody else is.Infact for me everything/everyone is Datta. I was only trying to emphasize the principle of Datta who stands for compassion and love for everyone. I am not blaming priests for this , please dont bring them into this. Who ever has sent email about pooja at BTR temple to local satsangh groups should have also sent the same email to jaigurudatta group which has wider reach.I think it makes sense. Please kindly note the following: Please look for the best in every e-mail rather than on the pitfalls it may contain. Who so ever sent the e-mail about the "Special Pujas" only to the "Satsangh Groups," perhaps thought (a). that all devotees are members of their regional satsangh group distribution list, and (b). that the representatives of the regional satsangh groups will cascade that information as efficiently as possible to their respective center members. It is also very likely that the sender, in a great rush, amongst myriad other things did not realize that the jaigurudatta was not copied; simply an oversight! Therefore, while it is an excellent point to ensure that all groups are copied (ideally), this oversight should not create any hard feelings and exchange of frustrations and misunderstandings. We all have good intentions and we are all one family! It is a pareeksha (test) for our titkisha (patience?). So, let us move on and focus on our saadhana. Sri Guru Datta! I was in no way asserting that i am Datta and nobody else is.Infact for me everything/everyone is Datta. I was only trying to emphasize the principle of Datta who stands for compassion and love for everyone. I am not blaming priests for this , please dont bring them into this. Who ever has sent email about pooja at BTR temple to local satsangh groups should have also sent the same email to jaigurudatta group which has wider reach.I think it makes sense.
