Jaya Guru Datta to all Datta devotees,

With Sri Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji's Divine Grace the Datta Jayanti

Celebrations went off quite well. We started with Guru Pada Puja, DattaDeeksha

Sankalpam

on Thursday at 7:00PM.

Friday we had regular Temple Puja.

Saturday we had a Christmas celebration with scheduled Puja. At 7;00Pm we

started ShivaShakti Linga Puja(SphatikaLinga) with a small meditation. After

Puja

and Kakadaharti food was served.

On Sunday morning we started Homa at 8:30AM after which a procession with

Priest carrying the Kalasha was led to the Temple. At the main entrance all

devotees invited Lord Dattatreya and all other Devatas that were invoked into

the

Kalasha into the temple. Upon entering the Temple Abhishekam was performed to

Lord Dattatreya and Anagha Devi. Those devotees who were observing Deeksha took

Sankalpam to end their Deeksha after the Abhishekam. Maha Prasad was served

in JayaLakshmiMataBhavan.

As usuall the program went very well,with the Grace of Sri Swamiji. For this

program not only local devotees, but devotees from Houston and Dallas Texas

and Georgia came to witness these Pujas. Lots of other Datta Devotees sponsored

by mail and by internet.

We have Ganesha Abhishekam comming up on January,1,2005 at 10:00AM central

time. It is good to start with Ganesha Abhishekam in the new year.

As usuall, with Sri Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji's Grace, we wish everyone a

happy and prosperous new year.
