We should not cause injury through speech. Our acts should not harm others. We should love our fellow beings. We should never cause mental torture to others. We should provide them with psychological security. Fear, anger and complexes should be avoided. We should help others to feel a sense of belonging. The motives and drives causing mental injury should be removed. We should speak kind words to others. Harsh words cause them harm and they do not bring us any good result. Polished and refined speech should be cultivated. Our actions should please others. Sympathetic and compassionate speech gives solace to our neighbours. Our deeds should be smooth. We should not go down to the level of animal. Our deeds should be noble. These acts enable us to attain Brahman." - Happy Datta Jayanti and Merry Christmas - Jaya Guru Datta
