Sree parama pujya swamiji says: "They say Sadguru's heart is softer than the butter and harder than the diamond. The butter melts when it is heated. But Sadguru's heart which is compared to butter will melt just by the nearness of an ice-candle.. But He will not show it off - because of pride and ego (sattvic) (this pride and ego for a Sadguru is only assumed as He only wants to test his disciples). Just to teach lessons to the disciples. But He cannot hide it. It comes out. But still He says His heart does not melt. When He says it does not melt, it means it has melted" Sree Guru Datta.
