Soliciting participation in DEAR - a program of sharing "experiences

with Sri Swamiji".

 

 

JAYA GURU DATTA

 

Dear Datta devotees,

 

Starting 27th November, 2004, organized by the Datta Temple and Hall of Trinity,

there will be an informal program called "DEAR" ( Divine Experiences And

Reminiscences), which, as the name suggests is a narration of experiences by

the devotees of Sri Swamiji.

Several people have had wonderful and thrilling experiences from their

association with Sri Swamiji, ranging from subtle suggestions to life changing

transformations.

 

This event is going to occur in the Sri Jayalakshmi Mata Bhavan (across the

street from the Datta Temple) in Baton Rouge every other Saturday at 4:00 PM. It

is expected to last for an hour and a half.

 

I am requesting the participation of one and all of Sri Swamiji's devotees, in

this activity. Such of the devotees living in and around Baton Rouge are

encouraged to participate by narrating their experiences in the Sri Jayalakshmi

Mata Bhavan. Others living farther than driving distance, may write their

experiences so they can be read out loud in say about 10 minutes each ( longer,

if there are more experiences) to the audience in Sri Jayalakshmi Mata Bhavan.

telephone number. I will check with you if clarifications are needed. Those who

wish to participate in person are requested to send in their names as soon as

possible, so that the program can be properly scheduled.

 

As you are aware, Sri Swamiji has expressed many times that devotees should

share their experiences with others. As a matter of fact, it was upon Sri

Swamiji's insistence that the two books "Wonders of a Holy Master" ( Volumes I

and II) under the able guidance and coordination of Dr. Prakasa Rao (DYC

Chairman) and Nandini ( Dr. Rao's wife), were published.
