Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta Bhajan "Ayyappa Ayyappa Ayyappa" on page 225 of Bhajana Mala III Next to the last verse, last line reads. Tommidirella metlekkistav.. Yet Sri Swamiji says a different word (than Tommidirella ) while singing it on Gana Sindhu cd. Does anyone know exactly what word He is singing? Guest guest
I received answer to this and am posting: Jaya guru datta This is a telugu bhajan... tommidi = nine(9) rella = twos tommidirella = 9 X 2 = 18, (metla = steps, ekkistav=will make us (help us) climb) The word for eighteen (18) isÊ- paddhenimidi in Telugu which has a shortcut= 'paddhemdi' Swamiji says "paddhemdi metla ekkistav" you will help us climb the 18 steps (of Ayyappa 's temple in Shabarimala - = ayyappa's abode in Kerala, India) Sri guru datta JAIGURUDATTA, "dattadevotees" <dattadevotees> w= rote: > Jaya Guru Datta > > Bhajan "Ayyappa Ayyappa Ayyappa" on page 225 of Bhajana Mala III > > Next to the last verse, last line reads. > > Tommidirella metlekkistav.. > > Yet Sri Swamiji says a different word (than Tommidirella ) while singing = it on Gana Sindhu > cd. > > Does anyone know exactly what word He is singing? > > Sri Guru Datta > > > Hanuman
