Guest guest
....One of the main events certainly was the Initiation/Sannyasa Deeksha and Peetharohana of Sri Baala Swamiji as successor of Sri Swamiji and future Head of the Ashrama and all other institutions.... Sri Swamiji was, as already mentioned, still exhausted from the preceding foreign tour the exhaustion even increased during the festivities.... Due to a sore throat, Sri Swamiji did not deliver any speech on 26th of May on the stage of Nada Mantapam. He just wrote down a few numbers and notes an a piece of paper, which He gave to Sri Kuppa Krishna Murthy, who read them to the audience via microphone generally speaking/at first sight, the number 62 is not a particular number. Yet at second sight, it reveals some spiritual predictions for the coming year: 6 multiplied by 2 = 12; 12 is an important number e.g. in astrology etc for Swamiji a new period commenced after every 12 years of His Life. 6 divided by 2 = 3; 3 stands for Trinity, Brahma Vishnu Shiva, and Sri Dattatreya 6 minus 2= 4; the four Purusharthas, Dharma, Artha, kama, Moksha 6 plus 2 = 8; standing for the eight Maha Siddhis We Angels (devotees from foreing countries, non Indians) came to know about Sri Baala Swamy s Initiation only during the Birthday Festivities.... Sri Swamiji said on the stage that by Sri Baala Swamy s Initiation and Peetharohana He would get more time for His devotees! Sri Bala Swamy, i.e. Sri Sri Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamy, is the son of a sister of Sri Swamiji. [of Saraswati and Subramaniam, a son of Sri Swamiji s father s Guru Dasambotlu as far as I know] He has been personally and intensively trained by Sri Swamiji during at least the last four years. (first initiation four years ago) He will in future represent Sri Swamiji during rituals and also some official functions. He will probably get additional training through Sri Swamiji during the next few years, until He can/will take over the full responsibility/leadership of the Ashrama and all other institutions. When the first official Darshan was taking place and I (Pingala) was finally standing in front of Sri Bala Swami after a long time of queuing, He told me He had been waiting for me. He wished me further progress and said I should inform the other foreign devotees about the possibility of Darshan. This I am doing herewith. From my personal point of view, as for us foreign devotees, there is no question of replacing the person of the Guru overnight. ....Yet Sri Swamiji s measure should be respected by all of us, and we should give Sri Bala Swamy the support that doublessly is needed in the pursuit/performance of such a difficult function/duty. Sri Bala Swamy already gives discourses on the shastras (holy scriptures) in front of big numbers of devotees, which are highly praised by Indian scholars. This is a proof for His already possessing great Spiritual Powers right now. After Initiation in Datta Temple Sri Swamiji delivered the speech which can be found on dattapeetham.com. At the end of this speech He was so moved, that for a long time tears of joy were flowing down His cheeks and He stressed that these were tears of joy and being moved by the support and love which all devotees gave Him. He said He was a full Avatara, nothing else. Sri Guru Datta Pingala" Sri Guru Datta
Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, can anyone tell me which Humkara/Omkara Mantra Sri Swamiji was referring to, see below > The Humkara (Omkara) Mantra kills the six inner enemies, kama, krodha, > lobha, > moha, madha, matsarya) lust, anger, greed, illusion/infatuation, pride, > jealousy/hatered, ] > You should continuously have the vision of your Guru in your mind/before > your > inner eye or hear His words reverberate in your ears. Then you could get > concentration and there would be no need to worry about where you are > sitting or > standing, or what kind of people are around you. Until you have reached that > > state you must continue sadhana/spiritual practice! > Is it this one: Omkaaraaya Namaha TTA] Sri Swa eMail 11KOmkaaram Bindusamyuktam Nityam Dhyaayanti Yoginah. Kaamadam Mokshadam Chaiva Omkaaraaya Namo Namah. The sacred letter 'Om' is associated with the sacred dot - the Bindu. This 'Om' is the bestower of all wishes and is indeed capable of leading one to freedom from worldly bondage and is meditated upon by yogis. To this letter 'Om' we offer our salutations. If anyone knows please mail to me privately, as not everyone is necessarily interested. Thanks. Sri Guru Datta
