"..for souls that are longing for liberation ... the world is like a narrow

well, they are feeling unwell in it. ..

The bound souls do not wake up. So much sorrow, so much disappointment, they

are subject to so many dangers, nevertheless they don´t wake up.

A camel likes eating thorny bushes. The more it eats, the more its mouth is

bleeding. Still it goes on eating these bushes, it cannot refrain from doing

so.

The worldly people have to undergo so much pain and suffering. still, after a

few days they go on as if nothing had happened. The spouse has died or has

been cheating, still one marries once more. A mother suffered terribly from the

death of her son, a few days later everything is forgotten. At first she is so

much in sorrow, after a few days she cares for her hair style and jewelry,

etc once more. These people lose their property in order to marry their

daughter, yet every year they beget a new daughter.

They lose their money through law suits, yet they file new law suits. They

cannot feed their children... yet every year they get another child.

.... I watched a relative of Keshab Sen, he was about fifty, playing cards.

Not even at that age he felt that the time had come to pray to God...."

Jai Guru Datta
