as we still can´t stop our thoughts at will, most of us I guess, we still

have to practise regularly:

Muhurtas are described by Sri Swamiji in Follow the Master, p. 155/156,

Brhamee Muhurta:

when night and day meet, 4.30 to actual sunrise,Devi Sarsasvati is Brahma

Svarupini protects the devotees during that period, thus it is called Sarasvati

Muhurta also.

second. Durga Muhurta, 12.00 noon: morning and afternoon meet

"...Therefore, we should not rebuke or scold others at this moment. People

generally waste this precious time in idle gossip.... Instead of thinking about

themselves as they should do, people think of others and their doings which do

not concern them in any way. Such people are destined to suffer from utter

poverty. Poverty is not mere moneylessness. it includes also poverty of the

heart and the head...."

"The third is the time when the evening and night meet...5.00pm to 7.00

Ever peaceful and calm Lakshmi, Goddess of Wealth, ...guards the devotee

during this time...."JGD
