This meaning of this Sloka is as follows:Shiva and Parvati are the Mother

and Father of the whole world.

 

Dear Datta Devotees,

I want to tell about Kartika Maasa. This year we will have Abhishekam on four

Mondays. October 27th Has passed. we have the following left. Nov.3rd,

Nov.10th, Nov.17th. On Nov.22,which is a Saturday,we will have a special

Abhishekam

for Shiva on Sani Trayodasi day. This Abhishekam will remove bad effects from

the horoscope,especially Saturn. This month Kartika Purnami will occur on

Saturday Nov.8th. This day will also be a Total Lunar Eclipse day according to

USA

calendar. The Eclipse will occur starting at 6:32PM EST and will continue

till 10:32PM EST.

That day from noon till next day the Temple will be closed. This is a great

time to do Japa with any mantra which Sri Swamiji has given. Whoever has been

personally given mantr by His Holliness must do Japa at this time. Doing one

mantra is equal to doing that Mantra 100 times or more.

Normally we would perform Satyanarayana Puja on this day,but we have to move

the Puja to Wednesday,Nov.5th.(Dwadashi Day)(Kshiraabdi Dwadashi Day) This day

Is also very good for Vishnu worship. On this Kshiraabdi Dwadashi day Vishnu

Sahasranamaparanayanam,Deepadaanam,Divyanamasankirtanam and Annadaanam giving

very good spiritual energy. During Kartika Maasa we will be doing Japam,

Abhishekam,Stotram,Shivamahima Paarayanam and Shiva Puranam.

One can derive great benefit from worshipping Shiva this month.

ABHISHEKAHPRIYASHIVAH...............

The meaning of the word above is that Shiva likes always to have Abhisheka

performed to Him. Shiva is always giving Yoga Sadhana. He is the only one

Saakara and Niraakara. That means with form and without form.
