Guest guest
While there is much more to be said on the questions in reply to the previous posts, I think each person should make an effort to take these questions and understand for themselves. To simply read the 'answers' posted by a particular person does not really help one to learn, instead, some effort on one's own into looking for answers can be beneficial and quite satisfying. A great place to start is the Guru Gita. Daily reading of guru gita and sri swamiji's life history can help clear misconceptions or questions slowly in their own time, and as Sri Swamiji feels you are ready to know a particular answer. Indeed, many devotees of Sri Swamiji have attested to the fact that when they have such questions, they keep them in their mind, and somehow or other, Sri Swamiji himself answers -- faith in guru, patience, and careful observation can lead to miraculous things. Ultimately, logic can lead us so far; but guru's grace alone leads to the experience of truth, which is worth many infinite number of books full of empty words. Let us pray that all of us have the opportunity to have such experience. In the spirit of thanksgiving (celebrated here in the US), let us also thank Sri Swamiji for the chance to associate and to know a real sadguru and obtain his grace. Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta All the teachings given by sri swamiji are self explanatory and. Here the most important thing is not reading but to know the inner meaning of those books by regularly practicing the teachings as prescribed. Than after rigorous practice of the teachings the experience comes automatically. Books for guidance and our efforts are for feeling that experience in the heart through systematic practice of all the teachings with firm determination. we can not learn swimming by seeing .To learn swimming you have to do swimming. Guru gita, Sri swamijis life history, datta darshana and sri swamijis bhajans are most important. Because the bhajanas give the tatva. The books give very good guidance for sadhana to a disciple. God only can tell about him self or sing. one of the most important sri swamiji told as kaliyuga gita is sachidananda niti mala.
