Guest guest
Dear Devotees: I'm grateful I learned to listen to Sri Swamiji or one of his highly appointed disciples only (Prasad, Swamiji Manasa Datta, et al). When it comes to translations of the Vedas, or any other matter, only Sri Swamiji's words will do. I am skeptical of anyone elses. And it is a waste of time to provide opinions about what something means. Just find out from the proper scholar. I never did read those other sites posted. Waste of time if Sri Swamiji did not authorize their authorship. Jai Guru Datta
Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, for me, it goes without saying that everyone reads only what he/she is interested in, feels attracted to. And also, that everyone minds his/her own business as far as wasting of time is concerned. Tolerance and not worrying about other people´s time wasting, but about one´s own, is what I´ve learnt from Sri Swamij´s sayings and teachings so far. Everyone, in his or her daily life, will find many people say many things and won´t have an opportunity to go to Sri Swamiji every time and ask Him personally who´s sayings are correct and whose are not. That´s why Sri Swamiji has said in Chicago: "Use me as you like" - you should say. Don´t over analyze statements or happenings. Your statements and actions should not come from your brain. They should come from your heart." (Chicago Speech July 24, 2002, Guru Purnima Day) And: "Close your eyes and feel Swamiji in your heart. "(Chicago, July 25, 2002) Sri Guru Datta, Carolin
