Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “It has been mentioned in previous lessons that the ultimate 'I' is also called as 'Atma' 'Paramatma' and 'Pratyagatma'. We have also learnt that 'I' is not the body, or mind or intellect or ego, etc. It therefore follows that Atma should invariably be more subtle than all of the above. It should be all pervading-- like the sky. It should be eternal and devoid of Gunas (attributes) like sattva-rajas and tamas. It should remain untainted. Body, etc., have the tendency of being created and destroyed. They have movement. Because 'Atman' is subtle and all-pervading, there is no question of 'movement'. Mind and intellect have ego, desires, aversions, etc. Atman cannot have these."
