Here is today's saying:

 

“We should always and at all times speak sweetly and pleasantly. We should be

ever careful to see that our speech does not irritate or provoke or offend any

other, anywhere, at any time; instead our speech should always be truthful and

at the same time pleasing. This discipline -austerity in speech - is called

'vaangmaya tapas' in the Gita . . . This austerity in speech should be practiced

by man thorough out life. Such a practitioner alone is a true and real devotee

(bhakta) of God."
