Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “Everyone deliberately commits sin day in and day out, knowingly and/or unknowingly through thought, word and deed, and when the time to suffer for the sin comes, everyone tries to escape. This is the nature of man . . . why does man commit sin? It is because of the vaasanaas or impressions left over by thoughts and acts done in previous births. It is something like falling in broad daylight into a well seen in dark night. To avoid this fall, therefore, Vaasaanas are to be exhausted. The aim and purpose of all saadhanas is liquidation of Vaasanas. To know and take up the saadhana best suited to oneself, one has to approach a Master who is a sroetriya (well versed in scriptures) and bbrahamanishtha (rooted in Brahman.) 'Na anyah pantha'-- There is no other way."
