Santhai Vishayam of NJ Vedics

Dear Bhagavatas,

 

Emperumaan out of his own free will and grace showers his choiciest

blessings on the jeevathmas through many ways. He gave shaastras,

also himself took avathaarams, sent Aazhwars, sent aacharyas for us

to reach him. Out of the many the aazhwars gave us the Naalayira

divya prabhandam which are in thellu tamizh (clear water like

tamizh). We the NJ vedics, out of bhagavath, Aacharya and

bhaagavatha grace has been learning the Arulicheyal since it has been

started. We have completed learning of the following prabhandams by

various Aazhwars.

 

1.Thirupallandu - Swami Bhattarpiraan

2.Thirupalliezhuchi - Swami Thondaradipodigal

3.Amalanaadhipiraan- Swami Paanperumaal

4.Kanninun chiruthaambu- Swami Madhurakavigal

5.Siriyathirumadal- Swami Kaliyan

 

Since the andhyayana kalam started on karthigai-karthigai we have

been learning

 

1.Yathiraaja vimsathi- Swami Selva azhagiya Manavaalamaamunigal

2.Dhaati panchakam- Swami Koorathaazhwan and Swami Mudaliyaandan

3.Aarthi prabhandam- Swami Selva azhagiya Manavaalamaamunigal(20

paasurams)

 

We are on verge of completion of these and hence we shall complete

these this saturday.

 

As we all know that the "Thai Hastam" day, which is a multi faceted

day on which the Thirunakshatram of Shri koorathaazhwar, and the

great festive of "thirupallandu thodakkam" is done and emperumaan

starts listening to the Aazhwars Arulicheyals(Naalayira Divya

prabhandam) regularly, fell last friday.

 

So we in NJ vedics start our santhai of the Arulicheyals from this

week on. For the first week (ie this saturday,Febraury 1st,2003) we

will have the santhai in this fashion.The santhai vishayam for the

week after will be sent at the earliest later.

 

1.Thirupallandu thodakkam

2.Yathiraaja vimsathi (full slokam)

3.Dhaatipanchakam (full slokam)

4.Aarthi prabhandam (full slokam)

5.Siriya Thirumadal (in thiruvai fashion)

 

This mail is also to insist that bhaagavatas in NJ, to please come

to the place where santhai takes place. That will lead to a very

good satsangam.We kindly request all the other state bhagavatas to

log on to the tele-bridge to learn and enjoy the amudha mozhi of

Aazhwars in traditional santhai style.
