But Sheshadri ji suggested my name, giving reason that his health condition is also delicate and he cannot serve for a longer period. Although he had all qualities, he showed younger to take responsibility as Sarasanghachalak. For him Work was important and not the position or post" RSS Sarasanghachalak K.S.Sudarshanji said while Paying tributes to veteran RSS leader H.V. Sheshadri. He was addressing a public condolence meeting, "Sheshadriji was guiding me after Rajju Bhayya passed away. Even when he was much more senior to me, he was giving suggestions with all respect to the Sarasnghachalak hierarchy". "A large number of people from different parts of the country have assembled here due to the influence of Seshadriji's personality. Now we are in the fifth generation and Sri Seshadriji was aptly guiding belong to second generation. Though he was invited to take the mantle of Sangh, he denied due to his bad health and encouraged and mentored me to shoulder the responsibility. He was active till his last breath Sudarshanji said. Former Prime Minister Sri Atal Behari Vajpayee told that though Seshadriji is not with us now, his inspiration is showing us the way. "He is not with us when his presnt was most essentil to us. He spoke mildly and very little.He never showed sign of anger or dissatisfaction. I pray humble salutations" he said. RSS General Secretary Sri Mohan Bhagwat expressed pain of depart for speaking on the occasion. Mohanji said, "Seshadriji was one of the architect in the last 25 years for the progress of Sangh. Even during bad health he used to attend the meetings. He was a Scholar, simple and honest in his approach". Seshadriji's niece Dr. Nagaratna used to call him 'Seshu' fondly. She also mentioned that we have lost a great son of Bharatmata. While quoting Swami Vivekananda "Country needs man making machine and country needs a man with 'M' and Seshadriji was one such person."L.K.Advani , Ex Deputy Prime Minister said. Sri Ashok Singhalji, in his speech, said that there is a deep sorrow in Sangh parivar. He had given guidance to different fields (Parivars) and saw that those fields are well established. Sri M.C.Jayadev while speaking mentioned that, he was associated with Seshadriji since 1946, after he got introduced in Vijayadashami Utsav in Mysore. Sheshadriji was very hard when the issues of principles concerned, but soft like a flower, when he interacted with the human element. Jayadevji read the condolence message sent by Sri K.Suryanarayana Rao. Sri K. Suryanarayana Rao recalled his association of 64 years with Seshadriji. The Condolence meeting was started with geet. Dr. Prabhakar Bhat briefly introduced the dignitaries present on the dais and then read the condolence message sent by Sri Pejawar Mutt Swamiji. Swamiji mentioned that, we have lost a great thinker and organiser. After the Condolence meeting funeral procession was arranged for a distance of 2 KM. thousands of Swayamsevaks partcipated in the procession. The nephew of Sheshadriji, Dr.H.R. Nagendra lighted the fire. Last respect to the body paid by all dignitaries present. Dignitaries present at funeral include RSS Chief Ma.K.S.Sudarshan ji, Sarakaryavaha Ma. Dr.Mohan Bhagavath, Ma. Madandas devi,Ma.Bhayaji Joshi, Ma.Suresh Soni, Sri A.B.Vajpayee, Sri L.K.Advani, Dr.M.M.Joshi, Pramod Mahajan, Narendra Modi, Rajanath Singh, Babulal Gaur, Arjun Munda, Prof. Bal Apte, Vedprakasha Goel, Ashok Singhal, S Gurumurthy, Muralidhar Rao, HariBhau Vaze, Sadananda Kakade and other elders of Sagh and Sangh parivar organisations. Apart from Sangh organisations Last respects were paid to H.V Sheshadri ji by NDA Convenor George Fernandez, and senior congress leader Jaffer sheriff at Keshava Krupa.Do You ?
