Guest guest
Sanskrit-speaking movement by Sanskrit Bharati on Guru Poornima The Nellore unit of Sanskrit Bharati has launched a Sanskrit-speaking movement on July 21, the Guru Poornima day, with the help of a dedicated team of students and trained teachers. The Sanskrit Bharati has been trying to bring Sanskrit to the doorsteps of the common people living even in the remote villages. Sanskrit Bharati feels that a movement to make people recognise their talent to activate the Sanskrit skills in them, is the need of the day. This movement has been launched to motivate common people to speak Sanskrit as if it was their mother tongue. For this purpose, ten-day and seven-day camps are organised. Such camps are organised wherever free accommodation and 25 to 50 students willing to learn Sanskrit are available. The classes are conducted at free of cost by inviting any senior student or citizen without any caste, creed, sex, gender or religious discrimination. The only eligibility is a desire to learn Sanskrit. The timings are mostly between 5 and 8 p.m. on announced days. (FOC)
