NoI 5 In this verse Srila Rupa Gosvami advises the devotee to be

intelligentenough to distinguish between the kanistha-adhikari,

madhyama-adhikari anduttama-adhikari. The devotee should also know his own

position and shouldnot try to imitate a devotee situated on a higher platform.

SrilaBhaktivinoda Thakura has given some practical hints to the effect that

anuttama-adhikari Vaisnava can be recognized by his ability to convert

manyfallen souls to Vaisnavism. ONE SHOULD NOT BECOME A SPIRITUAL MASTER UNLESS

HE HAS ATTAINED THE PLATFORM OF UTTAMA-ADHIKARI. A neophyte Vaisnava or a

Vaisnava situated on the intermediate platform can also accept disciples,but

such disciples must be on the same platform, AND IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOODTHAT

THEY CANNOT ADVANCE VERY WELL TOWARD THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF LIFE UNDER HIS

INSUFFICIENT GUIDANCE. THEREFORE A DISCIPLE SHOULD BE CAREFUL TO ACCEPT AN

UTTAMA-ADHIKARI AS A SPIRITUAL MASTER.Note: One is urged to accept UTTAMA

ADHIKARI as guru. If one goes againstthis conclusion he is against Srila

Prabhupada THE GURU. Offense in chantingthe holy name number 3 neglecting the

order of the Spiritual masterBesides this EVEN IF one becomes a "spiritual

master" without havingattained the platform of Uttama adhikari then this is

offence 1 and 3 BOTH.(1)Blaspheming the devotee plus (3)NEGLECTING the order of

the spiritualmaster.Although one can take discipline from even a Kanistha

adhakari--it isdiscouraged (INSUFFICIENT GUIDANCE) ---and NOT ONLY THAT BUT

there is NOmention of Kanistha as a guru who can give diksa. All that is

mentioned inthe Nectar of Instruction is UTTAMA ADHIKARI giving diksa and the

recepientis Madhayam adhikari. NOTE VERY CAREFULLY: KANISTHA IS NOT MENTIONED

AS A GURU WHEREAS UTTAMA ADHIKARI IS MENTIONED AS THE SPIRITUAL MASTER.In

either case IS_CON's "gurus" and Gaudiya matha "gurus" are offenders tothe holy

name. IS_CON "guru's" have disobeyed Srila Prabhupada's order ofthe July 9th

1977 letter and Gaudiya math "gurus" have disobeyed SrilaBhaktisiddhanta

Saraswati Goswami Maharaja Thakura and elected themselves asacaryas. In both

the cases IS_CON and Gaudiya math "gurus" are self made(elected/voted

themselves) they are unauthorised and AND THEY SHOULD BECOMPLETELY NEGLECTED.

THERE IS NO NEED TO SERVE A JEALOUS PERSON WHO IS IN THE DRESS OF A

VAISNAVA.They are envious of Srila Prabhupada's uniqueposition as the Jagad

Guru.Madhya 24.330 The Sixty-One Explanations of the Atmarama Verse

MAHA-BHAGAVATA-SRESTHO brahmano vai gurur nrnam

sarvesam eva lokanam asau pujyo yatha

harih maha-kula-prasuto 'pi

sarva-yajnesu diksitah sahasra-sakhadhyayi ca

na guruh syad avaisnavah The guru MUST be situated on the topmost

platform of devotional service.There are three classes of devotees, and the

guru MUST be accepted from thetopmost class.Note: here Srila Prabhupada states

MAHA-BHAGAVATA-SRESTHO--and twice usesthe word MUST so this is NOT OPTIONAL.

Neglecting this is offense (3)Neglecting the order of the spiritual

master.Madhya 24.330 The Sixty-One Explanations of the Atmarama Verse When one

has attained the topmost position of maha-bhagavata, he is to beaccepted as a

guru and worshiped exactly like Hari, the Personality ofGodhead. ONLY SUCH A

PERSON is eligible to occupy the post of a guru.Note: Neglecting this is

offense (3) Neglecting the order of the spiritualmaster.So there is sufficient

evidence to say that ISKCON's so called-gurus areconning devotees and so are

the Gaudiya mathas. Srila Prabhupada was experthe knew---and further more he

has stated below:JSD 2.2 Beyond ReligionDevotee: Some of

these so-called gurus will say some things that Krsna says,but they'll give

other instructions also. What is the position of suchpersons?Srila Prabhupada:

THEY ARE MOST DANGEROUS. MOST DANGEROUS. THEY AREOPPORTUNISTS. ACCORDING TO THE

CUSTOMER, THEY GIVE SOME TEACHINGS SO HE WILLBE PLEASED. Such a person is not a

guru; he's a servant. He wants to servehis so-called disciples so that they may

be satisfied and pay him something.A real guru is not a servant of his

disciples; he is their master. If onebecomes a servant, if he wants to please

the disciples by flattering them toget their money, then he is not a guru. A

guru should also be a servant,yes--but a servant of the Supreme. The literal

meaning of the word guru is"heavy"--heavy with knowledge and authority, because

his knowledge andauthority come from Krsna. You cannot utilize the guru for

satisfying yourwhims.Iso 12 The Lord states that as soon as one reaches Him

by devotionalservice--which is the one and only way to approach the Personality

ofGodhead--one attains complete freedom from the bondage of birth and death.In

other words, the path of salvation from the material clutches fullydepends on

the principles of knowledge and detachment gained from servingthe Lord. The

pseudo religionists have neither knowledge nor detachment frommaterial affairs,

for most of them want to live in the golden shackles ofmaterial bondage under

the shadow of philanthropic activities disguised asreligious principles. By a

false display of religious sentiments, theypresent a show of devotional service

while indulging in all sorts of immoralactivities. In this way they pass as

spiritual masters and devotees of God.SUCH VIOLATORS OF RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES

HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE AUTHORITATIVE ACARYAS, THE HOLY TEACHERS IN THE STRICT

DISCIPLIC SUCCESSION. THEY IGNORE THE VEDIC INJUNCTION ACARYOPASANA--"ONE MUST

WORSHIP THE ACARYA"--AND KRSNA'S STATEMENT IN THE BHAGAVAD-GITA (4.2) EVAM

PARAMPARA-PRAPTAM, "THIS SUPREME SCIENCE OF GOD IS RECEIVED THROUGH THE

DISCIPLIC SUCCESSION."INSTEAD, TO MISLEAD THE PEOPLE IN GENERAL THEY THEMSELVES

BECOME SO-CALLED ACARYAS, BUT THEY DO NOT EVEN FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLES OF THE

ACARYAS. THESE ROGUES ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS ELEMENTS IN HUMAN SOCIETY.

BECAUSE THERE IS NO RELIGIOUS GOVERNMENT, THEY ESCAPE PUNISHMENT BY THE LAW OF

THE STATE. THEY CANNOT, HOWEVER, ESCAPE THE LAW OF THE SUPREME, WHO HAS

CLEARLYDECLARED IN THE BHAGAVAD-GITA THAT ENVIOUS DEMONS IN THE GARB OF

RELIGIOUS PROPAGANDISTS SHALL BE THROWN INTO THE DARKEST REGIONS OF HELL (BG.

16.19-20). SRI ISOPANISAD CONFIRMS THAT THESE PSEUDO RELIGIONISTS ARE HEADING

TOWARD THE MOST OBNOXIOUS PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THEIR

SPIRITUAL MASTER BUSINESS, WHICH THEY CONDUCT SIMPLY FOR SENSE GRATIFICATION.Bg

4.42 P Transcendental Knowledge A bona fide spiritual master is in

the disciplic succession FROM TIMEETERNAL, and he does NOT DEVIATE AT ALL from

the instructions of the SupremeLord as they were imparted millions of years ago

to the sun-god, from whomthe instructions of Bhagavad-gita have come down to the

earthly kingdom. ONESHOULD, THEREFORE, FOLLOW THE PATH OF BHAGAVAD-GITA AS IT IS

EXPRESSED IN THE GITA ITSELF AND BEWARE OF SELF-INTERESTED PEOPLE AFTER PERSONAL

AGGRANDIZEMENT WHO DEVIATE OTHERS FROM THE ACTUAL PATH. The Lord is definitely

the supreme person, and His activities are transcendental. One who understands

this is a liberated person from the very beginning of his study of the Gita.

Note: bona fide spiritual master is Srila Prabhupada he does not deviate at

all.Madhya 1.218 The Later Pastimes of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Srila

Narottama dasa Thakura says, chadiya vaisnava seva nistara payechekeba: unless

one serves a Vaisnava, he cannot be delivered. The spiritualmaster initiates

the disciple to deliver him, and if the disciple executesthe order of the

spiritual master and does not offend other Vaisnavas, hispath is clear.

Consequently Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu requested all theVaisnavas present to show

mercy toward the two brothers, Rupa and Sanatana,who had just been initiated by

the Lord. When a Vaisnava sees that anotherVaisnava is a recipient of the

Lord's mercy, he becomes very happy.Vaisnavas are not envious. If a Vaisnava,

by the mercy of the Lord, isempowered by Him to distribute the Lord's holy name

all over the world,other Vaisnavas become very joyful--that is, if they are

truly Vaisnavas.One who is envious of the success of a Vaisnava is certainly

not a Vaisnavahimself, but an ordinary mundane man. Envy and jealousy are

manifested bymundane people, not by Vaisnavas. Why should a Vaisnava be envious

ofanother Vaisnava who is successful in spreading the holy name of the Lord?An

actual Vaisnava is very pleased to accept another Vaisnava who isbestowing the

Lord's mercy. A mundane person in the dress of a Vaisnavashould not be

respected but rejected. This is enjoined in the sastra(upeksa). The word upeksa

means neglect. One should neglect an enviousperson. A preacher's duty is to love

the Supreme Personality of Godhead,make friendships with Vaisnavas, show mercy

to the innocent and reject orneglect those who are envious or jealous. THERE

ARE MANY JEALOUS PEOPLE INTHE DRESS OF VAISNAVAS IN THIS KRSNA CONSCIOUSNESS

MOVEMENT, AND THEY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY NEGLECTED. THERE IS NO NEED TO SERVE A

JEALOUS PERSON WHO IS IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA. WHEN NAROTTAMA DASA THAKURA

SAYS CHADIYA VAISNAVA SEVA NISTARA PAYECHE KEBA, HE IS INDICATING AN ACTUAL

VAISNAVA, NOT AN ENVIOUS OR JEALOUS PERSON IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA.Note:

ACTUAL vaisnava is in the mode of SUDDHA SATTAVA (PURE GOODNESS) inthis state

he can communicate with Krsna. Our BONA FIDE GURU SrilaPrabhupada is in that

stage--and service to SUCH A GURU IS INDICATED.Adi 1.35 The

Spiritual Masters The service of the spiritual master is essential. IF THERE

IS NO CHANCE TOSERVE THE SPIRITUAL MASTER DIRECTLY, A DEVOTEE SHOULD SERVE HIM

BYREMEMBERING HIS INSTRUCTIONS. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPIRITUAL

MASTER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND THE SPIRITUAL MASTER HIMSELF. IN HIS ABSENCE,

THEREFORE, HIS WORDS OF DIRECTION SHOULD BE THE PRIDE OF THE DISCIPLENote: The

pride of the disciple is Srila Prabhupada's (books/tapes, CDs) hiswords of

direction(instructions). Madhya 25.9 How All the Residents of Varanasi Became

Vaisnavas If one saw the personal characteristics and activities of Sri

CaitanyaMahaprabhu, one would certainly be convinced that He was the

SupremePersonality of Godhead. One can ascertain this by following in the

footstepsof the sastric injunctions. This sincere study and appreciation of

SriCaitanya Mahaprabhu is also applicable to His authorized devotees, and it

isclearly stated in the Caitanya-caritamrta (Antya 7.11): kali-kalera

dharma----krsna-nama-sankirtana krsna-sakti vina nahe tara

pravartana In this Age of Kali, real religious propaganda should induce people

tochant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra. THIS IS POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE WHO

ISESPECIALLY EMPOWERED BY KRSNA. NO ONE CAN DO THIS WITHOUT BEING ESPECIALLY

FAVORED BY KRSNA. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura comments in this

regard in his Anubhasya, wherein he quotes a verse from Narayana-samhita:

dvapariyair janair visnuh pancaratrais tu

kevalaih kalau tu nama-matrena

pujyate bhagavan harih "In Dvapara-yuga, devotees of Lord Visnu and Krsna

rendered devotionalservice according to the principles of pancaratrika. In this

Age of Kali,the Supreme Personality of Godhead is worshiped simply by the

chanting ofHis holy names.» Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura then

comments:"WITHOUT BEING EMPOWERED BY THE DIRECT POTENCY OF LORD KRSNA TO

FULFILL HIS DESIRE AND WITHOUT BEING SPECIFICALLY FAVORED BY THE LORD, NO HUMAN

BEING CAN BECOME THE SPIRITUAL MASTER OF THE WHOLE WORLD. He certainly cannot

succeed by mental concoction, which is not meant for devotees or religious

people. ONLY AN EMPOWERED PERSONALITY CAN DISTRIBUTE THE HOLY NAME OF THE LORD

AND ENJOIN ALL FALLEN SOULS TO WORSHIP KRSNA. BY DISTRIBUTING THE HOLY NAME OF

THE LORD, HE CLEANSES THE HEARTS OF THE MOST FALLEN PEOPLE;THEREFORE HE

EXTINGUISHES THE BLAZING FIRE OF THE MATERIAL WORLD. NOT ONLY THAT, HE

BROADCASTS THE SHINING BRIGHTNESS OF KRSNA'S EFFULGENCE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

SUCH AN ACARYA, OR SPIRITUAL MASTER, SHOULD BE CONSIDERED NONDIFFERENT FROM

KRSNA-THAT IS, HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED THE INCARNATION OF LORD KRSNA'S POTENCY.

SUCH A PERSONALITY IS KRSNALINGITA-VIGRAHA-THAT IS, HEIS ALWAYS EMBRACED BY THE

SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD, KRSNA. SUCH A PERSON IS ABOVE THE

CONSIDERATIONS OF THE VARNASRAMA INSTITUTION. HE IS THE GURU OR SPIRITUAL

MASTER FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD, A DEVOTEE ON THE TOPMOST PLATFORM, THE

MAHA-BHAGAVATA STAGE, AND A PARAMAHAMSA-THAKURA, A SPIRITUAL FORM ONLY FIT TO

BE ADDRESSED AS PARAMAHAMSA OR THAKURA." Nonetheless, there are many people who

are just like owls but never opentheir eyes to see the sunshine. These OWLISH

personalities are inferior tothe Mayavadi sannyasis who cannot see the

brilliance of Krsna's favor. Theyare prepared to criticize the person engaged

in distributing the holy nameall over the world and following in the footsteps

of Sri CaitanyaMahaprabhu, who wanted Krsna consciousness preached in every

town and city.Note: Srila Prabhupada is that Pramahamsa-Thakura that

mahabhagavata who isdescribed HEREIN.BY DISTRIBUTING THE HOLY NAME OF THE LORD

(hisbooks,tapes,CDs), HE CLEANSES THE HEARTS OF THE MOST FALLEN PEOPLE "HE IS

THE GURU OR SPIRITUAL MASTER FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD" this is a his UNIQUE

position. Gaudiya math and ISKCON so-called gurus steal his disciples theseare

the OWLISH personalities who cannot see the brilliance of Krsna's favor.Bg 16.4

P The Divine And Demoniac Natures In this verse, the royal road to

hell is described. THE DEMONIAC WANT TOMAKE A SHOW OF RELIGION AND ADVANCEMENT

IN SPIRITUAL SCIENCE, ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLES. They are

always arrogant or proud in possessing some type of education or so much

wealth. THEY DESIRE TO BEWORSHIPED BY OTHERS, AND DEMAND RESPECTABILITY,

ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT COMMAND RESPECT. Over trifles they become very angry and

speak harshly, not gently. They do not know what should be done and what should

not be done. THEY DOEVERYTHING WHIMSICALLY, ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN DESIRE, AND

THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE ANY AUTHORITY.Note: IS_CON and Gaudiya Matha "gurus"
