before Independence one of the reasons that Dr Ambedkar gave for creation of

Pakistan was that the Indian Army consisted mostly of Pakistani Muslims and

this Army was funded by tax paid by the Hindus of modern day India. By allowing

the Pakis to access Indian markets esp TV we would be repeating the mistake as

well as allowing the Pakis a propaganda tool.

info 10 sports is owned by Sheikh Bukatir the man who organized masala matches

in Sharjah. Matches that were mostly against India because of which BCCI

stopped sending the Indian team there. Matches where Dawood Ibrahim's gang

played a major role in betting. Those of you who have seen tv footage of the

1980's, early 1990's will see Dawood sitting in the VIP lounge.

 

We must to nip in the bud attempts by GEO TV to access the Indian advertising /

GEO TV of Pakistan plans to launch entertainment channel in India April 05, 05Gokul Krishnamurthy

GEO TV, from the Independent Media Corporation of Karachi, will have an Indian

audience soon. The Pakistani TV network from the publishers of the

‘Jung’ daily is preparing to launch its entertainment channel in

India soon, according to Imran Aslam, President, Independent Media Group.

However, he refused to commit a timeline. “To be very honest, we cannot

commit a timeline. There are a series of issues to be addressed. We want to

come in as soon as we can, but we want to do it right,” he said.
