Address it to BCCI, start the mail by congratulating Jagmohan Dalmiya on a favorable Supreme Court Judgement. My earlier mail below is only for information. Please frame your protest mail as you think best. with prem sanjeev Namaskar Mitra, proceeds from the Tsunami Cricket Relief matches in Australia are to go to 'World Vision' a Christian evangelists also known as service organization. This link tells you more- http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/news/tsunami/ To know about World Vision, an international Christian relief and development organisation working to promote the well being of all people - especially children. http://www.wvi.org/wvi/home.htm below is a forward from a friend. with prem sanjeev Dear Friends,It has been brought to my attention that the International Cricket Council is holding a benefit match to help tsunami victims -- ticket sales are already proceeding in full swing. While we should applaud the ICC's social commitment and compassion, we should strongly question their choice of aid agency to receive the proceeds from this benefit match. They have chosen World Vision International, an organization with a patently transparent conversion agenda and track record in third world nations. I am amazed that the representatives of their Executive Council including Mr. Jagmohan Dalmia meekly went along with this.It would be more powerful for Hindu, Buddhist and progressive organizations of all faiths to protest this -- rather than isolated individuals. We should unite and stridently question what possessed the Cricket Council, a promoter and symbol of diversity and multiculturalism, to designate a beneficiary like World Vision for its fundraiser. To offer aid to an organization with an explicit agenda to uproot people from their native belief systems is to doubly victimize the victim. Let what the tsunami left behind of the region's cultural and spiritual diversity not be washed away as well!Regards, ChitraSOME USEFUL WEBLINKS:1.
