ShriB.L.Gupta-Chairman PRP Committee IndiaDevelopment and Relief Fund-USA Meets

the children of "Jeevan Prabhat" Shri Babu Lal Gupatji Chairman PRP ommittee

India Development and Relief Fund (IDRF) and his wife Shmt. Jyotsna Guptaji with

other dignitaries from USA visited the children of "Jeevan Prabhat" on Sunday

the 19th of December 2004. Other dignitaries who accompanied him were Shri

Rajesh Khatri and Shmt. Santosh Khatri, Shri Anand Shah of Indicorps USA. It

may be recalled that IDRF-USA has been constantly helping us with financial and

moral help. They have so far contributed Rs.80 Lacs for the children of "Jeevan

Prabhat". Their first major contribution was in the form of Rs. 56 Lacs for

the construction of the boys wing of the "Jeevan Prabhat" complex. This wing

was dedicated to the children on the 17th of December 2003 by the then Governor

of Gujarat Shri Kailashpati Mishra. Subsequently IDRF has also contributed for

other works of the "Jeevan Prabhat" complex like the construction of the

boundry wall etc. First all the visiting dignitaries went to see the "Jeevan

Prabhat" complex and all of them praised the construction quality and said that

they have so far not seen such good quality of workmanship. After seeing the

complex they all departed to visit the children. When they arrived at Vedic

Sanskar Kendra where the children are staying at present they were accorded a

warm welcome by the children with a band and with the traditional tilak on the

forehead. A small gathering had been organized so that the children could meet

the people who have been constantly showering their love and affection on them.

Shri Vachonidhi Arya (Hon.Gen.Secretary) introduced the guests to the children

and also gave a brief outline of the project. Shri B L Guptaji also blessed the

children and told them that on joining Arya Samaj Gandhidham they have a

wonderful opportunity to make their lives and they should take all advantage of

the facilities provided to them and study hard to ecome something. As is the

tradition the 0ffice bearers of Arya Samaj Gandhidham presented the guests with

small mementos as a remembrance of their visit. The guests then had lunch with

the office bearers of Arya Samaj Gandhidham at Holiday Village Resort and

departed for their onward journey. Please given below to view
