City-based astrologer J Udaya Bhaskara Sastry has propounded a new theory which has been incorporated in the syllabus for the advanced numerology course in the Canada-based Suite University. Sastry will start taking online classes for the students of the university from next week. Sastry, the director of the city-based Parasara Institute of Astrological Studies and Research, has linked astrology to numerology through Dasha applications. He has plans to write a book on the subject. Advanced numerology has four modules, including individual numerology, value numerology, relationship numerology and predictive numerology. At present, numerology is mostly used to suggest changes in names to bring prosperity. Advanced numerology looks at various other things too. Individual numerology, for instance, gives a phase-wise reading of a person's life. Relationship numerology helps one to enter a relationship, whether personal or for business. Value numerology assigns numerical values to alphabets and predictive numerology presents the past, present and future of a person. The new theory proposes that the Dasha system can be applied to numerology too, after assigning the person a numerical ascendant based on his date of birth. Sastry has experimented with the new system by drawing up astrological and numerological ascendants of Princess Diana, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi as individuals. He has also used it in the case of the World Trade Center attack. Sylvia Cochran, the dean for Philosophy and Religious Studies at Suite University, said that the new theory would be a wonderful addition to the existing courses in the university. http://www.deccan.com/City/CityNews.asp?#Astrology%20in%20Canada%20varsity%20cou\ rse --- End forwarded message ---
