for the proper functioning

The rain which started with the havan yesterday continued throughout the night

and stopped in time for the havan today morning. But the havan ground was wet

so the havan was held in the hall today morning.

 

The delegates are also constantly arriving and the figure has reached 800 and

more are still expected. The rain has proved to be a hindrance in the

arrangements but our volunteers have bravely fought it out and they have made

proper alternate arrangements so that there is no problem faced by the guests.

 

After the havan there was the Children’s cultural development conference. Dr. K

D Jeswani was the chief guest of the conference. The speakers were Acharya Arya

Naresh from Udgith Sadhna Sthali Himachal, Suryadevi Shastri Principal Panini

Kanya Gurukul Varanasi and Shri Satyanand Naishthik from Delhi. Suryadeviji

said that as we clean grains before cooking food and then add spices to make

the food more tasty in the same way we have to cleanse the child first of any

bad habbits and then add cultural values in it so that the child becomes

cultured and is able to face everything in life. She said that good cultural

values are necessary for the body & soul; it is the duty of the parents to mold

their child into a good human being.

 

Acharya Arya Nareshji said that he has special affection for Arya Samaj

Gandhidham and the children of Jeevan Prabhat. He appealed to all present to

give not only their moral support but also financial support for the children

of Jeevan Prabhat and asked peopleto contribute Rs. 51000/- for the

construction of one room of the Jeevan Prabhat complex. He said that Tankara

was the birthplace of Rishi Dayanand but now Arya Samaj Gandhidham has turned

out to be his true follower in every sense. He said that we all are here due to

the values taught to us by our parents, and that Arya Samaj Gandhihdam was the

fruit of the labour put in by the parents of the present team members. He said

that it was Rishi Dayanand who removed women from the heals and placed them on

the head. He said the women were the true strength. God was responsible for the

creation of the universe and the women were responsible for creating the persons

responsible in running it. He called on the ladies to stop the nudity being

spread in all the media so that they can teach their children to be true and

good human beings. As the veins are to the body so are the women to the nation

Shri Bharatbhai Dhokai, Dr. K D Jeswani and Shri Nautrotmal Guptaji were the

other dignitaries who were present during the function.

 

If the morning was for the children then the afternoon was dedicated to the

ladies. There was a Womens Reawaking Conference which was Chaired by Mata

Premlataji from Delhi, the Chief Guest was Dr. Nimaben Acharya Member of

Legislative Assembly Anjar, and the invited guests included Smt Beena Pandya

President Ineerwheel Club Gandhidham and Smt Sunita Agrawal President Mahila

Agrawal Samaj. After a round of bhajans from Shri Nirmal Arya and Pandit

Satyapal Pathik. This was followed by a talk on the subject by Pandit

Kamleshkumar Agnihotri who said that there was a major difference between the

woman of the Vedic Age and today. Sita never applied any makeup nor did any

fashion but is still remembered today, this is due to her simplicity and her

moral upbringing. He said that to-days lady has become lazy due to the advent

of machines for doing all the work and now only one machine is required that is

for putting food in our mouth. He said that a lady should speak less but what

she speaks should to appropriate and to the point. She should also talk with a

sweet voice, which would be pleasing to the ear.

 

Suryadevi Shastri Principal Panini Kanya Gurukul Varanasi said that in the name

of fashion. Women have discarded Sindoor and Bindi and taken up body exposure

which is leading to their own destruction.

 

Mata Premlataji said that the girls of today should take care of how they dress

and what they wear. She said that the dowry system should be put down strictly.

 

Smt Beena Pandya President Ineerwheel Club Gandhidham and Smt Sunita Agrawal

President Mahila Agrawal Samaj were also of the opinion that it is the lady

herself who is leading to her own downfall. It is the blind run for money which

is leading to the destruction of the womens character.

 

Dr. Nimaben Acharya said that womans contribution in all fields was

comparatively less and they should come forward and make contribution and not

stay inside the house only. Ladies are the strength of this nation and Indian

culture.

 

The day ended on a musical note with enchanting bhajan presentation by Shri

Prakash Arya of Mahu Madya Pradesh.
