Guest guest
"Mohan Guptaa4India\"" Contribution of Sonia to BharatThu, 4 Mar 2004 00:09:03 -0500 Contribution of Sonia to Bharat Some foreigners have made significant contributions to Bharat. One immediately thinks of Sister Nivedita, Vivekandanda's disciple, who not only gave her life for the up liftment of women in Bharat, but also played an active role in Bharat’s early independence movement. Nivedita had Hinduised herself. Swami Vivekananda had made her see that her work among Bharatiya girls and women would take deep root only if she Hinduised 'her thoughts, her conceptions, her habits' and even forgot 'the memory of her own past.' She underwent this hard tapasya and transformed herself so much that whenever she spoke about Bhartiyas she used the expressions "we' and 'our'. >From Margret Noble to Nivedita of Bharat (India)Sister Nivedita served India as her own motherland and its people as her own siblings. How much Sonia has changed and Hinduised herself and contributed to Bharat in any form? Today, scholars like American David Frawley, or Belgium Konraad Elst, keep reminding Bhartiyas about the greatness, past and present, of their country and how Bharat still has an important role to play in the world. Of course, there are also the "misguided" ‑ but good‑willing foreigners. Max Muller was one of them: he is the first westerner, after William Jones, to have discovered the genius of Sanskrit language. Unfortunately, Muller is also responsible for many of the biases of today's Bharatiya history, such as the post‑dating of the Vedas, or the ridiculous theorem of an Aryan invasion of Bharat, which all-recent archaeological and linguistic discoveries disavow. Mother Teresa could also be labelled in this category: she worked tirelessly for Bharat's poor, but never cared to counter balance the very negative image of Bharat she was incarnating, by a more negative one. Finally, you have the ignorant and arrogant foreigners. English colonisers must have been the first of them: not only did they wilfully leave behind them a mess, which triggered Partition, but they also bred many generations of "Macaulay's children", who today look at their own culture as the British once looked at Bharat. Sonia Gandhi may be another of these "conceited" foreigners: all her life she has been cloistered in Delhi, either because she led the life of an upper class Bharatiya before her husband became PM, or because she is supposed to be under security threat. She has thus no idea about the genius of Bharat, which lies in its countryside ‑ and not in arrogant and superficial Delhi. Yet she chose to head Bharat's oldest party_ and has led it to its downfall! yes"> It seems Sonia Gandhi is bent on destroying Hindu society. When the BJP government of Gujarat lifted a ban in February 2000, on its employees becoming members of a nationalist organisation RSS, Congress MPs led by party chief Sonia Gandhi held a sit-in in the parliament compound to protest against what they said were attempts to inject a Hindu bias in Bharatiya society. Sonia Gandhi and her congress party forced the Gujarat government to revoke the lifting of ban on its employees becoming members of the RSS. What a contrast between Sister Nivedita and Sonia Gandhi. Sister Nivedita Hinduised herself for uplifting the Hindu society while Sonia Gandhi wants to destroy Hindu society and she wants to promote the interest of Christians and Muslims in Bharat on the name of secularism Nivedita had Hinduised herself, while Sonia wants to spread Christianity in Bharat. Ex-President Clinton of United States too an arrogant westerner, who seeks to mediate in Kashmir without knowing anything about the complexities of the situation and Bharat's rightful preoccupations? Or is he going to tread more carefully, as surely his ambassador must be advising him to? Time will tell. Much of Japanese ancient culture ‑ Zen Buddhism, its martial arts, Bonsai ‑ was saved from total extinction by the foreigners' (read US) interest in them. Will the same thing happen to Bharat? Today, there is a massive outcry from the Bharatiya intelligentsia, every time this government tries to switch from a westernised and Marxist Bharat to a more Indianised (Bharatiyakaran) one, a culture much‑much older than any Western ideology. This is exactly what Murli Manohar Joshi, one of the most selfless ministers of this government, is trying to do, and thereby earning the ire and the scorn of the "secular" Press. They are mocking him, like they ridiculed him ten years ago; when he had the courage to hoist the Bharatiya flag in Kashmir ‑although today he would probably be a hero! Does it need then a David Frawley to tell Bharat that it boasts one of the greatest and oldest Books of Wisdom ‑ the Vedas - which might even contain the keys to the future of humanity? Or the UN to point out that it is high time Bharat adopted a uniform Civil Code, which does not discriminate between religions? Or a Konraad Elst to clamour that Hindus have been the most oppressed minority in the world for the last ten centuries? Wake up Ô India, Thy time has come! What is the qualification and contribution of Sonia Gandhi (nee Maino) to aspire become Prime Minister of great country Bharat except that She is married in Nehru Gandhi family. Due to Bahu, of Nehru – Gandhi family, she has become Member of Parliament and leader of opposition and once which was a big Congress party. She is just a reader of written statements and not a leader. Even after staying in Bharat for such a long time, she neither can speak pure and fluent Hindi nor can understand pure Hindi. Sonia is utter neophyte on the Bharatiya political stage. She had virtually no experience of Bharatiya politics or profile or knowledge of Bharatiya culture and history; Even then she wants to become Prime Minister of great country Bharat. The world now knows about the BOGUS Rashtramata from Italy. "Qualifications" of Rajiv and Sonia are also posted on, www.partitionofindia.com SONIA'S QUALIFICATIONS New Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS) The Congress Tuesday admitted that the educational qualification of party president Sonia Gandhi in her bio-data given to parliament was wrong but blamed it on a "typographical mistake". "There was a typographical mistake in the bio-data given to the Lok Sabha with regard to the Italy-born Gandhi's educational qualifications," party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said in response to questions by reporters. COMMENT: Did someone say, "Sonia Gandhi has a Diploma in English from Cambridge University?" Nothing of the sort. She went to Cambridge to work as a domestic help (au pair) in an English home. She never joined Cambridge University. Sonia Gandhi (nee Maino) was not, in fact, a member of this University but studied at one of the numerous language schools situated in the city. Regrettably, I now forget which, but I do remember that when an enquiry precisely similar to yours arose a year or two ago it transpired that the school in question did not keep any records at all of its past students. I am sorry to have to send so disappointing a reply. Yours sincerely Sd: DR. E.S. "I had a written speech with me, but I thought if read people would call me a reader, not a leader," he said in another veiled reference to the Congress president at a function to felicitate BJP Maharashtra unit president Gopinath Munde in Mumbai. yes"> &n; bsp; It was his first public function after joining the BJP. Janata Party president Dr Subramanian Swamy has a talent for sparking off a fresh controversy when it is least expected. In this exclusive interview, he speaks to Manish Chand on why he chose to strike out at Sonia Gandhi when he has nothing to gain from it, but everything to lose New Delhi, January 3, 2003 You created quite a storm by saying recently that Sonia has failed as an Opposition leader. What provoked this sudden outburst against a one time ally? I didn't say she failed as an Opposition leader. What I said was in the coming year several scandals will be brought to light by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), especially at the time of the next elections - a midterm poll I expect sometime in November, which will seriously embarrass the Opposition and thus throw us into disarray.
