described in your paper dated Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004.

>Dear Sir,

>

>While describing the creation from Hindu view point I think the

description needs to be readdressed. 'Do not expect one creation

story from Hinduism' is not correct.

>

>Hindus of any denomination, sect, cult, or Sampryadaya follow Veda

as their basis. Your description distorts 'Veda' or Vedic Views .

Purusha was never sacrificed to create the Universe. Creation

started at least 1.9 Billion years ago per Vedic view. Only Hindu

Religion in the world alone stands for the billons years of our

existance. No other religion comes close to that figure except the

science. The very word 'Veda' means Knowledge , the basis of

Science . So there is no conflict with science.

>Taittiriyo Upnishad clealry describes the sequece of development

of Human beings- First stage is Annamaya Kosha or Vegetable

kingdom, second stage is Pranmaya Kosha or Animal kingdom, third

stage is Manomaya Kosh or development of Mind, or Conventional

world, or consciousness, the forth stage is Vijanmaya Kosha or

Delopment of Philosophical and scientific World or mind, and the

last is Anaandmaya Kosha or Spiritual or Superconscious mind or

blissfullness.

>One may go deeper into Sankya Philosophy that describes the Matter

as Prakriti and formation of Universe. Deatils can also be discussed

per Vedic Views but may take more space.

>I have written many books on Hindu Religion particulaly 1. Hindu

Satkam , that describes this creation in detail, 2.Gayatri Garima

that describes the northword movement of Indian subcontinent. I am

writing a third book that will deal with journey of soul and

creation . Additionally I am one of the founder of Greater Atlanta

Vedic Temple Society Inc.and 'World Association of Vedic

Studies' , 'Vedic Science Journal' that deal with these kind of

issues. Kindly do contact us on the matter of Hindu Religion,as we

(World association of Vedic Studies) conduct International

conferernces since 1996 in USA and in India, and Nepal, on theese

subjects. Therefore, I am a Hindu Vedic Scholar and authority on

Hindu Religion. I invite you and your staff to come and participate

in these activites at Vedic Temple, or send your reporter at Vedic

Temple to see what we do and what are the real views on this subject

matter.

>

>Thanks for your efforts to start a debate on the subject.
