Guest guest
I conceive the word dravidism as a purely linguistic word, pertaining to tamil ( the word tamil is supposed to hv come from the word ;trimili in crete) i strongly object to say that all south indian languages belong to dravidian family. ( more of this later) agastya is a north indian and he has introduced his brother to sudasu, a king of vrtstu clan. Vashishta has brought about a good ' milan' between sudasu and bharatas, which has angered viswamitra , who was hitherto was holding sway over sudasu. so , he has organised the ten kings to go and fight sudasu under the leadership of bheda. agastya is assigned to come down to south. it is said that Lord siva has given him the language of tamil and agastya, after coming down to south to quell the rebel of hilly tribes in vindhya ,settled down there..He , basically a brahmin warrior, there after turned to more literary work such as writing grammar for tamil kishore
