Jai Ramji Ki!

Dear Vrin prabhu:

You wrote about tribals in Arunachal Pradesh. Which tribe they belong to? Are

they vaishnavas?

May you be blessed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. You are taking His work further.

Regards,

Dhruba.

experiance. I will update all when I am back.Thank you for your patience. This

part of India has very few working internet facilities. I held a nice program,

with Harinam sankirtan, a hundred miles from the Chinese border. After spending

some time with the Tribals, they asked me to sing them a song to remember them

by. So I led them in a kirtan. They loved it and joined in enthusiastically.

Dear Dr Chandoraji and Drubaji,

Namaste. Thank you for your encouraging and supportive messages. I

have now arrived in Gauhati Assam.Today representatives from NE

India's Tribes are beginning their all India Tour to highlight the

facts about the cultural genocide they have experianced. This tour

will take them all over India. I am very happy to let you all know

that I was involved in the genesis of this tour idea. We hope to

continue the tour into the USA and beyond. anyone who wants to help

is welcome.

In regards to Druba's question about the Tribals being

Vashnavas.Actually they are not. They are followerrs of the

indigenous Danyi Polo faith. They see the Sun as being the Supreme

Mother Goddess of all creation. It was because of my support in their

struggle that they were very interested to know about Prabhupada and

his message of Harinam Sankirtan. These were the Hill-Mari tribals and

Nyishi tribals. A few were Shiva Bhaktas and one man, a police

officer in charge of the weapons stockade was a Hanuman Bhakta. He

trusted Hanuman to guard the police armory so that he could attend

the program. He is also a poet and sang us his original compositions

glorifying Hanuman. It was a very enlivening experiance for all of us.

I am always very pleased to get some nice words from my old friend

and advisor Dr Chandoraji. You are in way my Guru. It was through

your organising the 1st WAVES conference that I began my Vedic

activist carreer. Koti Koti Pranams to you.
