A minor but significant victory in the ongoing struggle re.

the 'scholars' who define Hinduism. Apropos of Courtright's case, it

is clear that loud noise making brings welcome change: as proved by

the retreat of the RISA fundies. Microsoft has also relented, and

replaced Wendy's (see Rajiv Malhotra's earlier article on Wendy's

Children) prurient and demeaning introduction to Hinduism with this

altogether more sensible introduction by Dr. Sharma, although it is

not without an error or two. Kumara a son of Brahma? I always thought

He was a son of Siva: Kartikeya, the handsome warrior.

Anyway, this is a significant victory for the quiet 'persuasion'

meaning the purchasing power of Hindus worldwide as well as the

efforts of Hindus within Microsoft.

Nice work, guys!
