Worship and other rituals helps you to gather enough strength to fight the spiritual obtacles you face. As per vedic philosophy one need not do anything for achieving enlightenment which is a natural state of any being Every ritual in Hindu religion is not for enlightenment, eventhough enlightenment is the primary objective of religious life Your queries can not be answered on open discussion groups as every recepient of the mail shall draw his own conclusions based his stage of development and understanding.
