Number of Hindus Killed by Pakistan after partition

I remember a friend of mine quoting sometime back that Nazi Germany

killed 6 millions Jews over a period of 6 years and Islamic Pakistan 3

millions (I am not sure of this number as I don't exactly recall) Hindus

over a period of little more than 1 year.

 

I wanted an authentic figure. Could you please provide me the authentic

figure of Hindus killed by Pakistan during partition and also during

1971 in Bangladesh?

 

Could you please also provide me source of the information?
