Guest guest
Dear Members and Friends, Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all Vaishnavas. I have recently found a very interesting website that describes in detail the ancient Egyptian and Middle Eastern understandings of the "third sex," or "tritiya-prakriti" as described in Sanskrit Vedic literature. The similarities between these various ancient cultural understandings of the third gender is phenomenal! Check it out... This confirms how the original Vedic system of third gender recognition was also present in ancient Egypt and other Middle Eastern civilizations. Check it out: The Third Gender of Ancient Egypt: http://www.well.com/user/aquarius/egypt.htm The Third Gender of the Ancient Middle East: http://www.well.com/~aquarius The Third Gender of Ancient India: http://www.geocities.com/galva108 Jaya Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga! -Amara dasa
